Leslie Cruz

My name is Leslie and I am the Client Relations Manager in our New Jersey office. I am responsible for pairing the perfect care provider with our clients and working closely with our recruiting team.

I joined LifeWorx in 2019 as a recruiter in our New York City offices. My job is to find caring individuals that can potentially become a great fit for the right family. I was born and raised in New York City and attended The City College of New York where I received my degree in Psychology. After college I began working in Human Resources to pursue my interest in group and organizational behavior.

During my time in Human Resources I grew to love the process of recruitment and finding the right people for specific jobs. I have always been a social person and have had an interest in understanding people and their behavior. With recruitment I can put my interpersonal skills and my interests into play. Meeting new people, learning their needs, understanding where their personality and skills will work, and ultimately placing them in the perfect job feels amazing. It is a great feeling to be able to help someone in such a significant way.

On my time off I enjoy reading, creative writing, and binging anything related to true crime. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, learning new skills, trying new foods, volunteering, and traveling!
