The Upper East Side neighborhood is part of our history and we lovingly restored an office space in a beautiful 110-year-old building on the corner of East 65th Street and Lexington Avenue. LifeWorx is excited to serve the Upper East Side, Yorkville and other local neighborhoods with exceptional elder care and lifestyle services. LifeWorx has been invaluable in finding responsible, skilled, and loving caregivers for my mother as she battles stage 4 lung cancer. Staying in her home has been important to her, and as her needs have changed and increased, LifeWorx has been there every step of the way, flexibly finding solutions that keep my mom and our whole family very comfortable with her care. Their constant communication with me, and their observations about my mom’s health and state of mind have been indispensable.
At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, my 91 year old mother tested positive. She lived alone in an independent living senior facility that was on lockdown. I could not get to her. I called LifeWorx in a panic and they had someone there within hours. They saved my mother’s life and gave me the peace of mind that she is not alone.
I had been looking for an aide for my mom for a while, wee just were not sure what exactly we needed. With LifeWorx’ help we were able to find a wonderful caregiver, Lela. Lela has made my mother’s house a home. She takes wonderful care of my mom, cooks, cleans, shops, and even loves our puppy, Friday.
From the first communication I was treated with respect, professionalism, and provided all the information I wanted and needed to navigate the world of agency care. LifeWorx, its team, and caregiver enhanced the quality of my mother’s life and mine and for that I am truly grateful. Unfortunately, my mother passed, but her time at the end of her life was incredible as she was surrounded by her family and caregivers that made a difference. Thank you LifeWorx!
