Take the first step toward better care

24-Hour Care

Our 24-hour home care services ensure your loved one has assistance at any time of day or night, providing peace of mind, safety, and security. Whether they require active personal care assistance during the night, or simply feel safer with a companion for emergencies, LifeWorx will work with you to determine the ideal schedule and level of care for your loved one’s home health care needs.

Many seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, experience disorientation, wandering, or nighttime confusion, which can pose safety risks. With our overnight home care, an experienced caregiver is always present to provide immediate support, whether that means guiding a client back to bed, preventing falls, or offering reassurance during moments of agitation.

With round-the-clock coverage and a dedicated team of LifeWorx caregivers, you can have peace of mind knowing that the home will stay tidy, meals will be prepared and cooked daily, medications will be carefully managed, appointments will be attended, and personal care needs will be met.

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

Memory loss comes with unique challenges, and our caregivers emphasize respect, patience, and understanding in even the most challenging moments. Our caregivers are experienced in assisting individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, and are equipped to navigate the changes in memory, personality, and behavior that come with it.

LifeWorx caregivers offer support with tasks around the home, creating a secure environment, and engaging in activities that are meaningful and mentally stimulating to your loved one. They are also familiar with tools like bed pressure pads that can alert them to clients leaving their beds and specialized door locks that prevent wandering to enhance security and peace of mind.

We also offer families helpful tips and information to better understand dementia care, including how to create a supportive and safe home environment and communicate effectively with loved ones. We can connect you with resources that will help make home modifications that enhance safety, as well as support groups for any family that may be struggling with watching their loved ones change over time.

How it Works

Discuss your overnight home care needs

Documenting medical needs is the easy part. Where the work comes in is understanding your loved one’s personality, their triggers and limitations, any barriers to potentially accepting care for the first time, and the little things we can add to their lives by way of a caregiver that will put a smile on their face.

Meet our caregivers

You’ll meet several fully vetted caregivers, each with a summary of their skills and experience, activities they enjoy engaging in with clients, personality traits, background and interests, quotes from their reference transcripts, and a photo from their in-person interview. From there, you can interview either in-person or over the phone or video call or simply decide based on their profile.

Overnight home care services begin

We do our best to keep things simple and find the perfect match for your loved one on our first time around and are encouraged by how often this happens. However, if things are not quite clicking, our client managers will take your feedback and go back to the drawing board for a more fitting solution. Above and beyond is the expectation, not the exception, with peace of mind as the ultimate outcome.

Meet Our Overnight Home Care Providers

Quality of care starts with our overnight caregivers. Our dedicated team of Candidate Relations Managers are responsible for proactively vetting new caregivers to ensure we always have the best fit available for your current and future needs.

Running a background check and verifying certifications is the easy part. Where our team adds value is the time spent by Reference Managers speaking with two or more local families that each applicant worked for long-term, assessing each reference for caliber, skills, validity, enthusiasm, and accuracy.

Once past the reference stage, every caregiver comes in for an in-person interview where our Candidate Relations Managers carefully observe their personality, communication skills, punctuality, focus, flexibility, and demeanor. Our Client Relations Managers then meet with each applicant as well, getting to know more about their background and what makes them unique to best match them with clients.

“During the later stages of my grandmother’s dementia, she would wake up in the middle of the night, disoriented and scared. But her overnight caregiver was always there, ready to comfort her right away. Just knowing she had that constant care and support helped not only my grandmother feel safe but also gave our family peace of mind.
Jess Letizia, COO

Ultimately, the process ends by asking the most important question – “Is this someone I would trust in my home to take care of my own family?” We accept only 5% of caregiver applicants, using a meticulous selection process, and enforce a one-strike policy to maintain our high standards.

With our rigorous vetting process and careful matching, you can be confident that our caregivers are not only highly qualified but also compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to enhancing your loved one’s quality of life.

The LifeWorx Difference

Our mission is to bring comfort, independence, and joy back into your loved one’s life. Our commitment to quality begins with our CHAP accreditation and state licensing, ensuring we meet the highest industry standards for safety and care.

Unlike corporate or franchised agencies, LifeWorx is privately owned and operated, which grants us the opportunity to work closely with clients and their families to address their unique circumstances with a customized plan. Our rates are straightforward and all-inclusive, with no hidden fees or overtime charges.

Anyone can walk into our ground level offices and speak with our team directly. Our in-office team works together to ensure every decision is focused on delivering the best care for your loved one.

Institutional settings tend to have strict routines, but our home health care services are flexible and designed to fit seamlessly into your loved one’s day-to-day life. Whether they need a companion for a morning walk or a nurse to manage post-surgical care, we can adapt to their preferences and needs.

We understand the importance of trust and consistency in caregiving. Unlike other agencies that shuffle caregivers frequently, we prioritize stability by minimizing caregiver changes and acting only on feedback from you and your family. This means your loved one benefits from a familiar face and a consistent level of care, making every day just a little bit easier.
