The Problem
Adam initially called LifeWorx for a ride to the doctors, a service we normally do not provide to non-clients. He was so sweet, and his need was compelling, so we decided to help him out. Adam was local, and we wanted to help a community member in their time of need. One of our colleagues offered to help with that ride free of charge. We had an instant connection with Adam. His personality radiated throughout our office. He would call back from time to time after that ride to chat with our employees and occasionally receive additional help. LifeWorx helped him where we could until he had fallen ill and needed more consistent, substantial help. Adam now required constant care because of his mobility issues and fall risk from his illness.
The Solution
Adapting to Adam’s new needs we found Joel, who was perfect for Adam. Joel was not only vastly experienced, but he had a huge, warm heart and was able to give round-the-clock care. Joel processed the strength and knowhow needed to help Adam become more mobile. They hit it off immediately. Joel now gives Adam the ability to live his best life. We have since introduced some other amazing providers who also share in our adoration for Adam as his care extended to 24/7. Building that initial relationship with Adam and giving him a simple ride has led to a lasting relationship.

I feel so lucky that my mother is being taken care of by aides from LifeWorx. We found the service through her long-term care insurance provider, which requires a licensed agency to qualify for reimbursement. My mother only needs part-time care, and LifeWorx was the only one of the recommended agencies willing to do half-days. When I first started this process, I was worried about how difficult or stressful it might be, but working with LifeWorx has eased my mind in every way.
I can’t tell you how good it felt to have Brian and the team at LifeWorx in my corner during the most difficult period of my family’s life. No matter what kind of complicated issues we had with my father’s illness and caretaking needs, I never got anything but sympathetic support from them. My experience working with LifeWorx has been very satisfying. The team is especially efficient and professional: responding quickly to questions, clarifying the “red tape” of the care giving process and speaking directly and civilly and patiently. The caregiver we work with is competent in fulfilling the duties assigned to him and good at motivating appropriate physical exercise programs even when there is mild resistance.

This company is amazing. My experience was comparable to getting help from a friend rather than from a business. Everything was perfect. The aide was early and attentive to the point of anticipating our needs, even in the middle of the night. When she was not needed, she left us to our privacy. She is a very nice lady and a great attendant. When I had a question for the office, they were back to me in no time. This was an unbeatable home care experience.
