90% of the job is listening. And listening to the clients really, I think, brings a level of comfort to them.
You, as a caregiver, you spend a lot more time with the clients than sometimes even their family members.
So you become that listening ear, that comforter they’re looking for.
Listening, talking, interacting—and sometimes giving the client your point of view from a different angle—that can bring a lot of perspective to their lives.
