My name is Tomitsa Ursu, and I have recently joined LifeWorx as the Candidate Relations Manager for Palm Beach County. I take great responsibility in finding the best caregivers for our clients, the ones that will go above and beyond to keep them happy and comfortable in their own homes.
I do believe that it takes a special kind of person to be a caregiver, to selflessly devote themselves to provide care for others. My mission is to hire the types of caregivers I would want to care for my own father.
Early this spring, my father had a triple bypass surgery. I was concerned about his recovery and care and visited him at the hospital every day. There I watched how the nurses cared for him, helped him around, and ensured he was always comfortable. I was really impressed by their kindness and dedication, and I felt incredibly grateful. Luckily for him, he had family members to be there for his recovery at home, but it made me think of others that are not as fortunate. LifeWorx has given me a great purpose, and now I join this elite group of managers sharing the same determination.
I was born and raised in Eastern Europe and moved to South Florida, Palm Beach County in 1989. I graduated from Florida International University, Miami, Florida, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, and Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Virginia, obtaining a master’s degree in organizational leadership. Prior to joining LifeWorx, I managed various medical practices for sixteen years. When I am not working, I enjoy gardening, going for walks, doing Zumba, going to the beach, and taking my dog for rides along A1A.
