LifeWorx accepts most long-term care insurance, including MetLife, Genworth, John Hancock, Banker’s Trust, Bright House and many other major insurance providers.

How does the insurance process work?

You can get started with a phone call or visit to one of our locations. We are happy to have our team of in-house long-term care insurance experts take care of all the meticulous paperwork and filing for you. Based on your insurance company, we can handle getting qualified (sending an RN for assessment if they want), creating a care plan, setting up direct payments to LifeWorx and managing all admin activities.

What if my policy only covers part of the total cost of care?

Many clients supplement their long-term care insurance daily or weekly through other means like family assistance and savings.

Most memory care communities offer the same services found in an assisted living setting, such as:

24-hour care and supervision
Housekeeping, personal laundry, and linen services
Daily social and recreational activities such as fitness classes, organized games, escorted day trips, etc.
Three daily meals, plus snacks and beverages throughout the day
Some assistance with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming and transferring
