Jose Murickan

My name is Jose Antony Murickan and I’ve recently been promoted to Candidate Relations Director. I joined the LifeWorx family as a Candidate Relations Associate and was promoted to Candidate Relations Manager in our Chappaqua branch last year. My job is to find the best qualified caregivers and work alongside my colleagues to help them to find their way to families in need of their service and care. Coming from a recruiting background I understand things from both the client and candidate sides. This has served me well to not only thoroughly evaluate caregivers but also understand what clients are looking for when they specify needs.

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology.  With my respective educational degrees and experiences I have gained the ability to both empathizes with people and understand their emotional characteristics as well develop an ability to connect with people of all different races and backgrounds. Additionally, I am able to help the organization grow and develop to adapt to the changing market trends, methodologies, and practices that will keep us competitive and growing.

I was born in India and came to America at the age of 5 where I received all my education. Currently I live in Yonkers and have been an active member of the community for the last 7+ years. I enjoy going to the gym, playing basketball, and doing anything in nature. I’m a big fan of freedom walks and a promoter of living an active lifestyle.
